Nestled in Tranquility

No phones, no neon lights, just an old-fashioned radio, grazing horses and beautiful sunsets in a setting steeped in history.

Sonoita is nestled amid thousands of acres of the Coronado National Forest with hundreds of miles of riding trails including several Arizona Trail segments. Equine events including Quarter Horse Racing, Dressage, Driving competitions and 3-Day Eventing are held year-round within minutes of the ranch.

This is Arizona's Wine Country. Nearby vineyards produce unique vintages which reflect the personalities and attitudes of their owners, from colorful picnic-style wine to serious award winning varietals.

Southern Arizona’s Mountain Empire is a region of great interest to bird enthusiasts as well. The natural migration of rare species through this area of southern Arizona attracts ornithologist and hobbyists alike. Nearby Madera Canyon is rated one of the best in the nation for bird watching by the American Birders Association. Nearby Patagonia is home to a world famous designated bird sanctuary.

So whether you are a life-long student of holistic health, or just looking for health in serenity - come to Grand Adventures Ranch

About the Ranch

The old 1920's ranch manager's home on our historic horse property has been renovated into a four bedroom/four bath B&B. We have decorated with antiques and southwestern pieces and artwork. Somewhat unique among B&Bs, ours is a separate guest house. Our guests share a full kitchen and a living & dining great room, complete with fireplace and two patios with fabulous views all to themselves. We live near-by in another historic home on the property.

Our bucholic setting has grassland and mountain views, yet is on the very edge of Sonoita, AZ with its restaurants, shops and proximity to area attractions. Grand Adventures Ranch, our horse boarding and therapy operation is located on the property, as well.

For those with difficulties from chemicals and scents, our staff uses scent-free, toxin-free Amazon Clean and Green for general cleaning and we use only unscented phosphate-free laundry detergents.
